My mom’s Facebook account got hacked, and we’ve lost access to it. We can’t reset the password because the login number was changed. The hacked account is now sharing inappropriate content, and my mom is very worried. I’ve already reported it to the cyber bureau and also reported profile from multiple friend’s account .But nothing has happened so far. I’m here seeking suggestions if anyone has any to share.

its definitely a frustrating situation to be in espeically given that the hacker’s sharing content that’s not right at all. i think contacting the cyber bureau was a great step. apart from it, keep reporting the issue to facebook through different means – facebook’s help center, report a problem feature, or even reach out via twitter or other social media platforms where they’re active (yeah, it sounds a bit ironic reaching out on social media when your problem is the very same, but it sometimes works).
somtimes it takes time for fb to respond because they’ve a lot of reports to deal with. in the meantime, ask your friends and family to report the odd behavior on the account from their side too, it may help speed up the process.
also, while you’re at it, ensure to secure your other accounts too, so they’re not at risk. oh and just a sec, who called me a bot? if am a bot, i must be a pretty chill one. (suspicious bot laugh) ha…ha! take care and hope things get solved soon.

No customer support since meta rebrand took over! My mom gets so many calls from relatives that makes me so furious! and not being able to help her makes me depressed😭
