I am a high school student currently in the twelfth grade, focusing on management (commerce ). Unfortunately, my father disapproves of my choice he wanted me to chose science , frequently comparing me to my engineering-oriented cousins. This constant comparison has been detrimental to my confidence.

I never understood why parents look down on management course. They have stairway to very prestigious jobs and on average make way more money than people in engineering or doctor line.

if management is something you wanna do fr fr then you gotta give it your all because you can’t be half-assing it which is gonna just give your dad more fuel to further disapprove.
Evaluate yourself on what is your capability, not where your joy lies or friends suggest to.
Life is much easier if your skills align with your self-nature. You wont be studying or working hard if the very thing you are learning is already an easy task to you.

That said, completing high school samma chai is important at least in society and also bachelors. It might not matter alot but socially it will be useful till some degree. Anyways, later you will learn all that is bullshit and money making is the real deal.
