Nepal Stock Exchange

The Nepal Exchange (NEPSE) is the only securities exchange in Nepal, providing a platform for trading various financial instruments, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. NEPSE established in 1993 and is located in Kathmandu. As of September 2021, NEPSE had 238 listed companies, with a total capitalization of approximately NPR 1.8 trillion (USD 15 billion). The exchange experienced significant growth in recent years, reflecting the increasing interest of investors in the Nepalese stock market. NEPSE has played a significant role in capital formation in Nepal and supporting the country's economic development.
