What I don’t understand is how do these religious lads who’re up for a fight or clash not realise that the clash or efforts of asserting dominance doesn’t really change anything instead people from both parties keep getting hurt,killed?
I’d have no sympathy for those who choose to be violent and get themselves killed eventually but these actions may harm even those who people who don’t want to be associated with these riots but they get hurt anyway just because they share the same religion,cast or ethnicity.
I’m from a terai region and hindu-muslim issue isn’t as prominent in our province as it is in madesh province.People die every single year which means all these riots change nothing.
I’m noticing a build up of another clash between MNO and Raaja badi group and if this happens,MNO supporters would be looking to hurt all those bahun,chhetri who don’t associate themselves with monarchist group and vice versa.
I’d first known about MNO when I was in eleventh class back in 2017,it wasn’t much known at that time but now,it has grown to a size big enough to organize a provincial protest.

Mno, can’t do crap…its mostly made up of rais and limbus and is based in koshi pradesh. There is no pan nepal ‘mongol’ organisation. Janajatis do have legitimate grievances against the nepali state, but they are not a monolith…magar and gurungs have a far more in common with khas people than with a rai or sherpa. However, nepal will suffer religious conflict, particularly in madhesh region because Hindus and Muslims cannot exist as one. And for people to assume that somehow nepal is special and has no history of hindu muslim conflict or unease its just plain ignorance.
MNO is just trying to get votes from janajati people by turning them against khas people. Best thing to do is to never engage in MNO posts and just ignore them completely.

Limbus have been conspiring against Hinduism ever since they ousted Lepcha, Bhutia dominated kingdom of Sikkim and came into power. Since then, they have been trying to rewrite the history of Nepal and the Nepalese have been swallowing. I am from Madhes, and there is this slowly growing hostile hatred against Rai, Limbus. I am a Yadav and a few years ago a Limbu came to me and tried to convince me that Yadavs were originally Mongolians. He said stuff like only Mongolians are Nepalese and so if Yadavs were Nepalese they had to be originally Mongolian. When I told him we were aryans and we were quite proud of that, the Limbu said we were refugees from Iran. He told me stuff like how much more Mongolians were superior than SOuth Asian Madhesi, Chettri, Brahmin, BIshwokarma, Pariyar, Thakuri and Shrestha, Shahi Newars. He went into a racist rant about how he couldn’t understand why Yadavs didn’t feel inferior against him as he was white and looked like Korean. To be fair, Madhesi people often refer to Rai, Limbu as “Chapti naak”, “choti lulli” and other offensive stuff. That guy was talking as if he was some superior race and as if Rai, Limbus had built Japan, Korea. I told him that most doctors engineers are Aryans and most chaukidaars, toilet cleaners are Rai, Limbus, he went silent.

There is too much fear-mongering going on in this sub. When was the last time you heard a Khas/Ariya person was physically attacked for his/her ethnic background? But you do hear about people being attacked for being a Dalit by you know who. Playing the victim card when you have been the perpetrator is a little rich, don’t you think?
As for MNO, Nobody supports them. They are far too extremist and irrelevant.
