Nepali Congress has made Muktakumari Yadav a candidate for the Deputy Speaker election. She has registered her nomination for the post of Deputy Speaker.
Her proponent is Congress leader Badri Pandey and her supporters are Vetmani Chaudhary of the United Socialist Party and Sarvendra Nath Shukla of Loktantrik Samajwadi party.
