When i read any kind of English books. I can understand each and every sentences. But the problem is if i read 2 pages of book later i forget if someone asked what had happened in this pages. I can say keywords/ 2,3 sentences of paragraph. But I cant say whole paragraph. You know if you read a story of 1,2 page. You can explain someone clearly if you have understood.
In my case this problem doesn’t occur while reading nepali.
How to solve this ?

Space repetition in my head works for me.
My mind has been working this way since when IDK but in back of my head, if I understand something very clearly, my mind automatically paraphrases it and when I recall, it’s not word to word but relatively accurate. Idk how did I learn it but I have been doing this and passing my exams.
