Nepal’s gold market witnessed a decline in prices while silver experienced an uptick on May 9, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. The price of fine gold fell by Rs 800 per tola, marking a significant shift in the market dynamics.

On May 9, the price of fine gold stood at Rs 135,600 per tola, whereas tejabi gold was priced at Rs 134,950 per tola. This marks a decrease from the previous day’s rates, where fine gold was priced at Rs 136,400 per tola and tejabi gold at Rs 135,750 per tola.

In contrast, silver prices rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1685 per tola on the same day, indicating a positive trend for silver in the Nepali market.
