I thought it was a Mandir, so went there, but it’s all about people doing stuff, religion this, that. Ani I searched it up in the internet and they were apparently in every corner of the world, so someone who has studied a bit more on the topic, can you please give me detailed and impartial view about it?

Isckon is based upon gaudiya vaishnav tradition of hinduism that worship Radha Krishna as the supreme god..they believe that chanting ” hare krishna hare ram ” is the way to establish relation with god (krishna) …it was started by srila prabhupada..
But it is also hated by many other hindus…the reason behind such hate is mostly isckon’s teaching regarding other hindu dieties…it use term such as ” demi god and goddess ” for Shiva, durga,kali,saraswoti..unlike orthodox hindu belief that krishna is the incarnation of vishnu they believe that krishna isn’t incarnation but the supreme god himself , the original form and vishnu is just a manifestation of krishna…
ISKCON is a branch under Sanatana Dharma that worships Krishna as the supreme deity.
ISKCON centres aren’t particularly a place of worship like a temple but it’s a commune where the followers also live, they worship and pray to Krishna, the management conducts activities like teaching and reading scriptures, organize various events like food distribution, book distribution, yatras etc ISKCON centres are a mix of temple, math, and guthi.
I don’t think you’ll get a proper answer here as I’m sure many of us here are not familiar with that path. Better ask the particular sub of that sub culture.
I’d say it’s a cult, it’s similar in structure to Osho or Sadhguru’s cult. I think they preach enlightenment, I’d recommend not getting involved.
