In the latest precious metals market update from Nepal, the gold price experienced a decline while the silver price witnessed an increase on April 29, 2024. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold decreased by Rs 400 per tola, while the price of silver rose by Rs 5 per tola.

As of today, the price of fine gold stands at Rs 137,200 per tola, and the price of tejabi (workable) gold is Rs 136,550 per tola. This marks a significant drop from the previous day’s prices, when fine gold was trading at Rs 137,600 per tola and tejabi gold at Rs 136,950 per tola.

On the other hand, the silver price saw an upward movement, increasing to Rs 1,665 per tola, compared to its previous trading value.
