Gold Price Surges by Rs 200 per Tola in Nepali Market

Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reports a notable increase in gold prices, while silver remains stable

Today, the domestic market witnessed a rise in gold prices, with the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association setting the price of fine gold at Rs 135,600 per tola. Standard gold, on the other hand, is currently traded at Rs 134,950 per tola. This marks an increase of Rs 200 per tola compared to the previous day’s prices.

Just yesterday, the price of fine gold stood at Rs 135,400 per tola, while standard gold was traded at Rs 134,750 per tola. The sudden surge in gold prices highlights fluctuations in the precious metal market.

In contrast, the price of silver has remained relatively stable, maintaining its position at Rs 1,660 per tola. Despite the volatility in gold prices, silver prices have shown resilience.

It’s important to note that a tola is equivalent to approximately 11.66 grams, serving as a standard measurement unit in the Nepali gold and silver market.
