Hi
Booked a someone last minute trek in Nepal mid April and I have been reading many forums and websites and cannot seem to find a consistent consensus regarding temperatures endured throughout the trek.
My main considerations are:
1- sleeping bag. I have a -7c, 0c and 10c bag and trying to determine which would be optimal. Note I also have a sleep liner which I do plan to bring as well.
2 – gloves – how cold are we talking ?! Canadian who is accustomed to cold winters but people seem to be preaching to bring warm gloves. Ideally planning to bring some merino liners and a light shell to cut the wind. Sufficient?
3- warm clothes. Planning to bring a thermal base , active lightweight sweater, fleece and light down puffer.(along with a rain/ wind shell) My understanding this would only mostly be needed at the tea houses … too much or not enough?
Cheers!
