NRN Infrastructure and Development Demonstrates Resilience in Q3 Financial Results

NRN Infrastructure and Development (NRN) has released its third-quarter report for the current fiscal year, showcasing a commendable performance amidst challenging market conditions.

Despite a decline in net income, NRN managed to achieve profitability during the review period. The company reported a net profit of Rs 55.8 million, marking a significant turnaround from the net loss of Rs 67,000 recorded in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

While the company experienced a decrease in total income, the change in fair value of financial assets played a pivotal role in driving profitability. Despite a 37.16 percent decline in net financial income and a 36 percent decrease in total income, NRN witnessed a notable increase in total expenses, rising by 29.75 percent.

NRN recorded a net profit of Rs 57.1 million, primarily attributed to the change in fair value of financial assets. This positive development underscores the company’s ability to adapt to market challenges and capitalize on opportunities for growth.

The company’s financial indicators further reflect its resilience and stability in the face of adversity. NRN reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs 6.08, a net worth per share of Rs 147.63, and a Price/Earnings (P/E) ratio of 84.89 times, signaling investor confidence in its long-term prospects.

With a paid-up capital of Rs 1.22 billion and retained income of Rs 104.1 million, NRN Infrastructure and Development is well-positioned to navigate uncertainties in the market and sustain its growth trajectory.

The financial report underscores NRN’s commitment to delivering value to its stakeholders and driving sustainable development in the infrastructure sector. As the company continues to expand its portfolio and explore new opportunities, it remains a key player in Nepal’s infrastructure landscape, contributing to economic progress and prosperity.
