An intern doctor assaulted at kmc sinamangal.

In other words the sky is blue.

What the fvk is happening in this country? Do these bheda people not need doctors/nurses? This has become an everyday thing now. NMA is doing nothing neither is mf prachande’s govt. I mean how can doctors or anyone in general feel safe in a country run by a pm who has killed 17k people and a number of other political goons!?. These goons go to india, us or singapore if they need treatment. But what are we gonna do? Go back to dhami-jhakri?

  1. Starting my internship soon. Wish me luck everyone 🥲

When I joined this field, having to be hyper aware of being possibly beaten by patients and their families was not something I thought I’d have to do.

  2. Most of these activities are conducted by party jholes because they feel empowered by their leadership.

A normal honest person can’t think of assaulting anyone.

Remember when a nurse was assaulted by a person 2 years ago in banke. He was released immediately under his party UML’s pressure, and given a ticket to contest in the last election.

Yo desh ma sidha sojho honest manche ko kaam chaina.

  3. When the leadership of this country is constantly focused of on getting into government for corruption and corruption only, everything else will only continue to worsen. Doctors will follow the lakhs of +2 students and nurses in moving abroad!

  4. Very sad situation and a deal was just signed yesterday but apparently it doesn’t matter. Positive thing is that 2 people have been arrested but one is still at large, KMC doctors are protesting for now and hopefully there will be resolution soon.

The mindset of some Nepalis has developed to such an extent that they believe they have a right to attack Doctors if they are not satisfied with the treatment. Just today we learnt the news that, a NMC expert team went to Manipal hospital to conduct postmortem on a recently deceased patient whom the patient party said her death was due to medical negligence but they refused because they said agreement has already been made to provide them money. This is basically extortion.

So, lots of frustration among many younger Doctors in Nepal. Lack of security is one of many problems and this will only accelerate brain drain and nothing else.

  5. Hijo weak agreement mai protest stop gardinu vo resident leader haru le. Aba doctors haru ni demoralise vaisaknu vo. Nothing will happen. There will be no change anytime soon. Better leave.

  6. Not defending but sometimes they can be very rude.one of my neighbor 60 years ama old stayed in hospital looking after her daughter.

The nurse asked her to look at the bottle which was connected to the veins and went away without telling anything soon the Bootle became empty and blood began to flow now she see searches for nurse.the nurse comes and scolds her saying why didn’t you turn it off.

That 60 year old ama wouldn’t know how to turn it of and the nurse leaves comment like kina kurna baseko ta of course that would make anyone angry

Now imagine where a person looses life and there is clear sign of negligence

  7. People are so dumb they don’t understand that doctors are not gods. They expect doctors to treat them fully always and if it doesn’t work, then they get angry at them. Being a doctor is a job like any other job. There can be mistakes and a lot of times, issues cannot be resolved. Unless it is some negligence from the doctor, people need to leave doctors be

  8. Just a question. Why are normal people, or party jhole, randomly assaulting doctors and not other profession? Do they have something against doctors in general?
Could it be that the doctors are rude to them and that starts the argument? Ki doctor le sunako diagnosis mann naparera doctor pitya hunu paryo?

  9. Police jalauna paune, Manche polne Manche lai ful mala rally hune, teacher lai kalo moso dalna paune, professor Lai maranasanna hune gari kutna paune, doctor kutna paune sabai freedom cha ta Nepal ma 🇳🇵

    Kina? Aja freedom badhi bhayo?

  10. Two parts to this:

    1. No, people who save lives for a living must not be assaulted. Especially in a gang-like fashion where the offenders prime motive is to create anarchy. This looks more like a case like Batman movie villains who are deliberately causing unrest to tear the social fabric.

    2. Nepali doctors in general are incompetent. Lack of experience or sustained mediocrity of several decades: they cannot be trusted with your life. So it’s time they buckle up.

This should be a wake up call.
