IME Life Insurance Revises Dividend Proposal for Last Fiscal Year

Company Adjusts Distribution Plan Following Regulatory Directive

IME Life Insurance (ILI) has made adjustments to its dividend proposal for the previous fiscal year, signaling a shift in its distribution strategy.

Initially, the company had announced its intention to distribute a dividend of 34.50 percent to its shareholders, comprising 25 percent in stock and 9.50 percent in cash, inclusive of tax.

However, in response to directives from the Nepal Insurance Authority, ILI has revised its proposal. The amended plan now entails distributing 25 percent in stock and 1.31 percent in cash to shareholders.

The decision to revise the dividend proposal underscores ILI’s commitment to compliance with regulatory guidelines and ensuring transparency in its financial operations.

It’s important to note that the proposed dividend distribution is subject to approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and will be finalized at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

This adjustment reflects ILI’s proactive approach to regulatory compliance and its dedication to upholding the interests of its shareholders.
