2. My grandfather who is a retired teacher explained it to me yesterday.

   “A person who has a knife dangling above his head can never teach someone else to become the best version of themselves”. The decision to let local government have authority on transfers of teachers means the teachers will always have to be in line with the politics of whoever’s the mayor of the town or they’ll be sent away, never promoted, their efforts will never be acknowledged and that is not an environment where good education thrives.

7. Some of these public school teachers are the worst. 9/10 of them are there to earn money and nothing else. I pity the private school teachers though. They are overworked and underpaid.
