Non Yadav castes are fleeing Madhes pradesh in droves and this is causing a demographic change in Pradesh 1. As soon as Saroj Kumar Yadav became the CM of Madhesh, violence surged in Madhesh. Earlier this year we saw a clash between Yadavs and muslims. Now many Kurmis, Kushwas, Thakurs are also leaving Madhesh in huge number. This is alarming for people of Pradesh 1 as they never knew about the caste breakdown of Madhesh. The crime wave in Madhesh against non yadavs after Yadavs were hired in huge numbers in Madhesi police force has increased exponentially. Earlier in 1990s Newar businessmen such as Pradhan and SHresthas were kidnapped killed and chased away from Madhesh by Yadavs. The lands of Shrestha pradhans is still under kabja and Marwaris have replaced Newars are businessmen. But now as Yadavs came into power non yadavs are scared.
