First of all, Choose the universities of your field where you meet the requirements of admissions, search the research of your interest/background going on the department, simply mail the respective professor mentioning about your interest. and apply for admissions to the university. That’s it.
Now repeat the same thing with three hundred professors.
Make sure to have a tailored resume every time.
Or a reference from a graduate student at the university might help sometimes with RA, TA
