I am a German student documenting languages, such as Nepali. I cannot speak Nepali and have **100 Yes/No questions** about the meaning of words, such as:
What words refer to authority? – प्रभुत्व – Yes/No
Could you answer them for me, please?
I’ve also considered using machine translation, but native and bilingual speakers often have a more nuanced understanding of the word’s meaning.

hmm. you have non base words. I suggest the धातु (base) form would be better than using “decorated” words. By decorated I mean words that have an attached notion of plurality, gender, tense and continuity, honor etc.
Example: उठ, उठ्यो, उठिस्, उठनेछ, ऊठ्छु
English analogy would be you have some verbs in the 4th form and some in the 3rd form etc. Wouldn’t it be best to consistently use the first form?
