  1. People are too pessimistic. I believe(hope) the megaprojects currently in construction will be huge for nepal. The massive energy production will be used by a lot of industries. Irrigation projects will provide relief to existing farmers and will encourage large businesses to start investing huge in agriculture. The number of startups that have recently grown drastically continue to do so. Nepali products like corn flakes, chips, cold drinks have been slowly providing alternatives for indian products. Hopefully all nepalese try and stick to the new local products.

I know im mostly dreaming here. But nepal isnt headed towards collapse like everyone always assumes. Even Nepal’s debt to GDP is very low compared to other countries. I’d like to hope Nepal is heading in the right direction. Nepal bandaicha, tara bistarai.

  2. Nepal might not be the greatest country, not even close to Switzerland or singapore.

But, it would be good enough for people to live with peace.

    1. We are still the happiest country in South Asia,
    2. Corruption index of Nepal in 2010(154), 2015(130th), 2022(110), “Sushashan”
    3. Rise of political parties that are prioritizing Sushaahn rather than idelogy
    4. big pride projects
    5. transportation, roads ma never happened development like this before(yes not satisfactory)
    6. the new Electrcity grids, contract to sell electricity to India and Bangladesh, whilst having more than enough for domestic consumption
    7. The youths know whats happening areounf the world, not going to get fooled
    8. improvement in public service(after 2072 constitution mandated all positions filled by PSC, before there were no consistencies on how they were conducted)
    9. Agriculture ma better seeds, technology, irrigation canal, modern tech la garda consumption has more than doubled. We grow lot of eggs, milk, tomatoes, dragon fruit and so many more. Average nepali has never consumed as much rice as they do now.
    10. more tourists and they are spending more, it think its estimated to grow by 50 dollar more by next 5-year-plan.
    11. tech hubs/companies are booming like never, the money they bring and software they export are getting insane
    12. add more if you know

It might not be the best country to live, but it would also not be the worst country to live. It would be good enough to live happily.

And please don’t compare Nepal with the US or Australia or Norway. The comparable countries for Nepal are Rwanda, Vietnam, Laos, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia.

  3. same ….. full of corruption…… inflations..more diverse in religion …… HIGHER pollution in major cities……more sick people, chronic diseases …..

    more ghumnay thau lol ……..

  4. Not in 10 yrs but in 15-20 yrs the remittance bubble will burst and ppl will realise that NPR is a worthless currency… tespachi k ho democracy bujlan…aile ta Bina consequences jasari nai baachna payeko cha tesaile ppl ma politcs lai dhakka hanney kisimko jagarukta dekhidaina derai lai ta Matlab Pani chaina chaleykocha vanneycha Tara kasari chaliracha dherailai thahachaina… but esari sandai chaldaina and karma is karma… Nepalese will have to face the consequences…there is no escaping it…

pachi ailejstai manpower khaadima pathayera Bina investment monthly 1 billion USD aaudaina…and when there will be decline in USD reserves tespachi k ho NPR vaneyko ppl will get a rude awakening… degradation will start after remittance declines…which will obviously decline in the future…yo decline vayepachi k garney kasaisnga Pani answer chaina…

  5. I am in one of the nordic country. Bahira aru desh ko preparation ani planning herda, Nepal hawa taal ma chali ra ko jasto lagcha. Tetro mega project haru, view tower projects jasari planning gari ra chhan just so that their jholes are happy and place for corruption, examples are international airports. Ek jana non citizen, home minister samma huncha, kasailai patto chhaina. Janata dekhi neta samma jasle sakyo luti ra chhan. Aile samma Pashupatinath kai kripa le bachai rakheka chhan jasto lagcha. Politically people ma awareness chaina, sansar kah bata kaha pugi sakyo, yah ajai harka balen bhandai jagada gari ra chhan, as a fan base. Infrastructure worst, I travelled from ktm – pokhara recently, kasto garho life yah, bato kina sabai batkauchan, part-part garera banuada ta huncha hola, there are new technologies for this. There is light in a tunnel bhanchan, tara tyo light katai bata dekhidaina, looks like its going backwards. Politically, 10 years ma kei stable hune sanket nai chaina. In my opinion, at least in my generation, this country will just keep going like this or may be worst, in future dont know if this country will exist, or exist only in paper. Both neighboring country are getting more powerful and it does not seem Nepal ko kunai aukat chha to handle geopolitically. West ko influence testai chha, niti niyam, constitution banaune harulai paisa falidiyo, uni harukai interest ma sambidan bancha. If this continue, future looks really bad and I think we all corrupt Nepalese deserves this.

  6. Many buildings will be named after Prachanda.

There will be a Highway named after RamChandra Paudel (yes he will be dead then).

Prachanda’s daughter will finally become PM of Nepal (after all those struggles).

Prachanda’s grandchild will post another selfie with popular global celebrity (they go to same club).

Agni Sapkota’s bhatij Madhav Sapkota will pass the throne to his Bhatij.

    Gokul Baskota will roam freely.

KP Oli will make yet another view tower in Damak, Jhapa.

    Deuba won’t leave “Sabhapati” position.

Coward Gagan Thapa will still remain as dummy Mahamantri of Nepali Congress.
