Prime Minister's directive to establish legal provisions for registering electric bikes produced in Nepal

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has directed the concerned authorities to expedite the legal process for registering vehicles produced in Nepal. He has taken the issue seriously and instructed the relevant agencies to address the issue of vehicles not being registered in Nepal, especially those produced in the country.

In a tweet, he said, “I take the issue of vehicles not being registered seriously, especially those produced in Nepal. The Chief Secretary of the Nepali government has been directed to instruct the relevant agencies to expedite the legal process for vehicle registration and promote domestic production.”

The issue of non-registration of electric motorcycles produced in Nepal has resulted in the suspension of production by the company for the past eight months.
