  1. I have two kids (7 and 3).

It is tough to raise children especially if both parents are working. My elder one grew up with my parents and it was easier. But my parents are not around so we find it difficult to manage ourselves sometimes.

Finances milauna garo nai huncha. Education is expensive!

But do I regret anything? Absolutely no.

I accept that there are times when I am really frustrated because it is difficult to manage. But, the joy of parenting trumps any frustration I feel.

I would rather play with my girls than go drinking with my friends. I would rather help my daughters with their studies/learning rather than go watch movies. I do it because I enjoy it.

But you may or may not enjoy it. There is no right or wrong thing to do. It should be right for you and your partner.

    All the best!!

  2. most beautiful feeling ever when you carry your child for the first time.

Child hurkauna na chai full time, full effort dinu parcha. Herda herdai, khelda kheldai hurkincha. Mentally prepare bhayara matra parenta bhako ramro.

Working parents lai chai ali garo hucnha. Unless aaru koi cha herdiney.

    NO REGRETS.

  3. I don’t regret having a child. He’s the best thing I’ve had in my life. I work for a remote company and I am at home all day. My wife abandoned her duties as a mother and spends 10-11 hours at work so I have to take care of the baby and lead a remote engineering team all at once so it’s quite of a discomfort.

They say raising baby is 50-50 responsibility but in my case it is a 90-10 responsibility. I just regret that we could not raise our baby together and I had to be the mother of my baby despite being the biological father.

He said his first word “Babu” and she was not there. He stood up and walked for the first time and she was not there. He had already had his first teeth a month back but she only saw when there were three.

But kei chaina. He’s 3 and he is my best friend. I love him more than anything.
