So this evening as I was drinking coffee at a store , I had checked to see the remaining data and balance on my cell number . The numbers were adequate, 4Gb data and 1100 balance .
After coffee , on the way home I stopped to buy some groceries. I did not carry any wallet, so I used the qr to make payment. There was a delay , and finally a reject . Rebooted the phone ( works when my data connection has problem ) . Still the same problem occurs . After about 10 sec , I get a message from 1415 saying I got Re 0 balance .
Within 10-15 mins , I lost all data and balance . The phone was on standby so no way was the phone using any data ,neither was there any accidental chance of data download/upload since I wasn’t doing doing anything . Basically nothing running in the background.
Any of u ever had much problem with ntc or ncell , pls let me know about your experience if u had one . This is straight up con job by ntc . I checked the usage history , very vague . Nothing much to find there . It is not possible to lose all that with your phone in your pocket .
Lack of quality control , weak regulatory body , monopoly,no accountability. But why is this even a surprise ? Things like this happen in a country like ours , unluckily today it was my turn today .
