Nepal is considered a hybrid regime by The Economist Intelligence Unit
A hybrid regime is considered a country that is a democracy with a lot of authoritarian features. Like election rigging and media intimidation. political opposition, non-independent judiciary, widespread corruption, harassment, and pressure placed on the media, anemic rule of law.Have you guys felt seen or heard some of these things I’m really curious. I read about it in this : https://myrepublica.nagariknetwork.com/amp/why-is-nepal-a-fragile-state/
There was also a map that showed that showed Nepal as having a democracy score close to Pakistan. Do you think it is comparable to Pakistan i think it’s a better than that but maybe I’m wrong.
