Hey all. I have been trying to cure my acne for some time now and I needed some advice. I was planning on following “the regimen” from [acne.org](https://acne.org) and it suggests the use of Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5%) to treat the acne. My question is, will Benzoyl Peroxide 5% work the same as the 2.5% assuming I used it in lesser quantity? AFAIK it’s just the volume of the chemical in the base that it comes in, so it should work on paper right? Also does anyone have experience with Arya pharmaceutical’s Benperox?
I’m also planning on using Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer so I would appreciate any insight you may have on these products. Big thanks.

go see a real dermatologist instead of seeking advice from armchair chemists.
You need a doctor not a self medication

Use this, maile doctor lai veterai leko ho, this really does the job well
Better to go for oral medication like isotretinoin. These skin care product doesn’t help if you have problem in ur hormone. Better to visit dermatologist.

how sever is your acne?
Is you’re using for first time, use CeraVe. Their products are very mild and help protect skin barrier as well. Most people mistakes of using harsh products for acne but forget that skin needs time for healing. I used benzoyl peroxide cleanser and moisturizer by CeraVe and it worked really well.
Don’t try stuff based off of internet. Consult a dermatologist. They will guide you.
My experience: Salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide are both good for acne. But don’t use them together. You can use 5% just like 2.5% and you’d be alright. Just make sure if you notice that you are allergic to it, stop using it. Then you can try salicylic acid.
Should you take my advice: probably not. It’s better to see a dermatologist than going off of my advice.
P.S. I am not a medical professional to give you the right answer to your question. Please seek medical professional help, instead of trying various stuff.
