Is these are ADHD symptoms??

Everytime smth running in my head… while doing anything in the background in my mind their going smth else. Can’t focus on anything (movie herda ni movie heira hunxu but movie sakiye paxi idk story k thiyo). Its like that tv kholera Mobile chalaye jasto.

Present ma focus nei garna sakdina. Khali mind ma past ra future ko kura haru chalira hunxa . Its smth like i don’t have an working brain. Like ekxin ni khali hunna dimag kaile dekhi ko ra future kura haru matra chalirako hunxa.

I have a mumbling/stutter problem .Acc to my research yo chai brain ko basal ganglia , thalamus or cerebral cortex bhnne neurons ko ramro connection nabhayera hune raixa. Yo neurons haru ko main kaam nei sensory part saga jodiyeko hune raixa like memory , learning, emotions and all. I observing my self and yo sabai kura ko kaami aafu ma bhetira xu. Aaile entrance ko lagii padhira xu, distract huna sano kura bhaye pugxa, padhna ta padhira hunxu tara padhi sake paxi k padhe yaad ramro saga hudaina ( like revision 4/5 choti gare paxi ta yaad hunxa ni? Malai ahaa hudaina)

Ma mero age ko aafno Sathi haru lai herxu they have so much mature mind ( bole ko herxu, aru activities herxu) i don’t have that kind of mind. Im so overthinker and insecure. and i live more in my past and future rather than in present everytime dimagg ma kei ma kei ko planning chalira hunxa or koi na koi saga kura garira hunxu. Aba ta atti nei lang langna thali sako uthe dekhi na nidaunjel samma ekxin ni mind khali hudaina ( ofc khasaiko ni dimag ta khali hudaina tara mero ma present ko kura bhanda aru ko chalira hunxa.)

Im so impulsive. Can’t take decision ( atti nei confusion) , undevelop personality.

Ps: background ma jatti bela ni mind chalirane bachei dekhi ho.

These all things are similar with ADHD symptoms . So do i have ADHD???

  1. Go to a hospital with a proper psychology and psychiatry unit. Go to OPD first, and describe your problems. Don’t just tell symptoms regarding ADHD, describe everything. A lot of mental health issues are comorbid and ADHD-like symptoms might be caused by some other problem too. They’ll refer you to psychology for proper assessment and it will take some time to pinpoint the problem and severity.

    In case you have ADHD, then you get diagnosed and get treatment and everything will be alright. If there were other problems, they would be found. In case there was nothing, you can be assured you don’t have any problems and go and work on improving yourself.

Bro I love books, I have some of the great collection but I cannot continue my concentration within few sentences, those awesome books I love reading, I guess I have red those paragraph 5-6 times. I cannot continue 2-3 pages in a day, its hard but I didn’t see it as my weakness but its my strength. I understand and imagine more than fast readers. 😂

  3. If it really is ADHD, your problem is more than willpower. It’s the executive functioning of your brain being unable to sort through noise and properly order things by level of importance.

    It’s a wildly misunderstood mental illness and there’s a lot of stigma surrounding it due to people thinking of it as an excuse to be lazy.

    I’ve been professionally diagnosed with it and stopped the treatment for it a long time ago. I barely made it through high school, and eventually dropped out of college. Ultimately I’m still successful with a well-paying job but the road to get here was maybe not as easy as other people might have had.

    It’s a hindrance and superpower all in one. It takes a lack of ego and a total understanding of oneself to overcome the many shortfalls. It seems like you’re on that path and I wish you well. Of course, get a professional diagnosis first before you start trying to fix a problem that might not exist.

  4. I have Adhd and what you are summarising sounds more of GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) more than Adhd. Have look in GAD symptoms and see which fits you better.

    But i would suggest to go to psychologist, they have proper tool to test.

    I too was like you but in my case I was diagnosed with some incurable disease. I assume yours not.

    Just don’t think too much and you will save yourself .

  6. I suggest quitting social media, youtube, porn and everything in between for a month. I don’t think mind dherai “chalne” is a bad thing or related to ADHD. Even if you have ADHD, you don’t have anything to lose by quitting the internet (including reddit) and seeing for yourself. Don’t even take my word for it, research. Huberman has said plenty about this.

  7. Didn’t read all of what you have written but if you can’t focus, one of the reason might be lack of willpower.

    Find ways to develop your willpower. That’s the longterm solution.

    Meditation can help but only if you continue it in the long term.

    Don’t go to psychologist and waste money like me. It’s useless. Just mark my words, develop willpower and you will be fine kiddo.

Actually .You being Aware of your thoughts And Watching them and forgetting is a very good sign in meditation ..Many meditator Does this When closing the mind and Meditating ..I recommend you to take meditation classes ….No need to take .Medicine and destroy your perfectily functioning brain ..and You will be able to focus much more after meditation classes and viapsana

    Go is doctor to. Get diagnosed by a professional. Don’t use internet, it’s probably gonna tell you either you are pregnant or have cancer.

    It could be problem with your brain due to concussion or due to some emotional episode. Or it could be just normal and you might just need focusing guidance.

  10. If you had ADHD you’d struggle writing this long story. How long did it take you to write this (how many sittings/how many weeks did it take you) and did you struggle?

    Get it diagnosed if you think you have it.

  11. Firstly, go to a regular Doctor and they can refer you to psychologists, only professionals can diagnose this, tyo ni 1 choti mai haina, will take few sessions.
    Another thing, always remind yourself to stay grounded. Ghar bata classes or even tei najik ko pasal jada, feel the air in your face, look up and see the sky- cloudy raixa ki or sunny, see the trees- kun colour ko leaves raixa. These are few simple things to train your mind to stay in the present, to stay grounded.

  12. It is highly possible, since ADHD does have a lot of what you described. But also, the Meyers Brigg’s personality INFP also have a lot of ADHD personaility quality (my husband has INFP personality and I still suspect he is ADHD). INFP are often, not always, people born in february with the Aquarius western horoscope sign (I know like 5 of these women and men, who are all eccentric unrestful childish soul born in February haha could be super coincidence though, since I do know other ADHD diagnosed friends not from Feb). So they are often misdiagnosed as ADHD due to personality bahavioral similarity, so there is also that to consider… it might just be the way you are and you can embrace your uniqueness!

    Also a word of advise, since no one but you know yourself best. Take what everyone says with skepticism, even doctors, since meds always have side effects, and science treatment only goes so far, it’s never a complete cure, there is no such thing as a cure. So, what you have to do is figure out to what extent you want to change and how to cope, self control, train your mind, and to what extent you want to be in control or fit in as the “norm”.

    I can share that, my husband cope with spontaneous decisions/actions by sharing all his crazy ideas with open minded friends an family (identify the emotional support in your life), those who can be impulsive with you, or can give you feedback to wait and be patient before you run off the wall. He also leaves the room or went somewhere in the middle of talking to people, because he isn’t always present. He also talk about random topics while everyone is talking about the same topic hahaha But everyone forgives him and we just ignore him. He doesn’t get offended either, since he isn’t all here at the moment. He cope with childishness (underdeveloped emotions or unaware emotions) through stress relief activities, like swimming, watching movies which he also fall asleep doing (which is good because it is relaxing no?), buying random tech stuff, building his own computer, going into nature (nature helps slow down time and your mind), meditate, and having hobbies really help.

    You will need nice patient forgiving people around you as well, but don’t exploit them and show that you appreciate them always being there for you, even if you let out anger and emotion instability, always try to voice how you feel so others can understand too. My husband also can’t sit and read, so he would learn to skim through books and capture the essence without spending hours reading every words, he learn to use his multitasking ability and short attention span to his advantage, and ace all his tests in school by studying last minute literally cramming everything! I thought that was incredibly smart 🙂

    Turn your weakness into your strength! Use your personality to your advantage and achieve your fullest potential in life. That is always a good way to look at it rathern than doubting you are “normal” or have “problem”. There are always people out there who embrace uniqueness and eccentric qualities. But focusing on the self is definitely a good start.
