Another question is if its temporary tattoos that wear off, it doesn’t matter. But I’ve heard of many people getting some blood related diseases due to permanent tattoos. I am definitely against tattoos.
THere is no need to pay money and that too for unnecessary risks. You can get good Ganesh mala, etc . I can that serve the same purpose that you’re trying to fulfill with tattoos.

It depends on how you see it , if you think it’s an insult to out tattoo , then don’t, I personally can’t think of any reason that could be considered wrong
Hot take: I asked the same question to my friend a while back and he has an interesting take on this. He said it was not ok. His reason being when you bathe, the water that touched the tattoo will touch your feet, which is disrespectful to the gods you tattooed.

I once heard that a guy got killed in India because he put a Hindu god on his legs. 😬 But I am not sure if this is a true story or just a gossip.
There is this belief that before starting such tattoo, it is advised to check with guru/pujari if your body can handle the tattoo.
