Tihar has always held a special place in my heart, a cherished festival that has captivated my soul since childhood. The enchanting glow of the “dusi vailo” during these festive days would inspire dreams that danced in my young mind, eagerly anticipating the arrival of Tihar.
Yet, it’s been a staggering 14 years since I last celebrated our major festivals, both Dashain and Tihar. As the years passed by, I found myself pondering why, of all times, this year I’m distanced from the enchanting vibes that once filled my home. It’s a strange and difficult feeling, being so far from the festivities that have always defined my life. This life abroad is a constant struggle, and it’s often overwhelming to cope with the longing for home.

you may have your own reason for not celebrating festivals with your family. So you can celebrate it alone, enjoy your company or even better if you celebrate with friends. Anyway wishing you a happy tiharrrr
