Current affairs and the trolls dancing on the palm of government and media

Current affairs and the trolls dancing on the palm of government and media

we hear news about all these scandals, but when it reached Deuba’s wife we got distracted by 100 Kg gold

they try to bring pardon in criminal cases under political cover

Then comes teachers protest

Then now they are talking about “Poor people problem and how streets should be open for these poor people”

TBH it’s harsh to accept but look around you, almost every one of you is one paycheck away from being poor while most are unemployed. You aren’t the one supposed to talk about poor.

You aren’t realizing we will soon have no youth to work in this country. You will soon realize there is no government actions for the youth to stay inside the country and provide employment. You will soon realize you will be the one to attend those “I am disappointed in you(th)” protest for some paid amount of money because there is no job at this country and you have nothing else to do. The economy is collapsing. You will feel like the only thing that could give you better future is going abroad.

Sometimes, I feel like the whole media and government is just trying to create fuss every day so that the people will not complain about the actual problem. You like Balen or hate Balen, that shouldn’t be a concerned of mine but when you look at it ethically you will see opening stalls on the street is just not right and you have no good reason than saying “oh they are so poor, what would they do?”

You don’t realize this is not the solution at all. This does more damage to people who will try to do things ethically and promotes a market where shops are full of tax evaders. I remember at one point of time; when I was intern, I used to earn16k and even in that I paid quite a sum as tax. “Makai bechne didi” used to earn more than me, with no tax liability. We know it’s illegal, we know they are evading tax, we know it’s not a solution, we know everyone is just poor including our government. So, please stop pretending that you have a big heart. Fight for some real issues. And if you still think KTM metro will give up million of it’s tax revenue just because they feel empathy for non-voters then good luck with your move. Talking about these issues aren’t fruitful at all. It’s illegal, so KTM metro has every right to do it’s job and I as a KTM voter fully support these actions.

At the end, just try to realize you are just being a pawn in these government fuss each and every day while the media and government is distracting you from the failure of our government and the one way to hell of “collapsing economy” they are driving us to. Maybe one day you fighting for street shop will become a valid cause when youwill have no option than opening a stall ourself.

  1. > “Makai bechne didi” used to earn more than me

Here’s the main reason why you are angry at the street vendors. This is a classic capitalist ploy where the leaders make you believe that your misfortune is caused by others similarly or more poorer than you. Look at how Trump used to blame the immigrants for unemployment and low wages for blue collar workers in USA instead of blaming the billionaires who were exploiting workers through unethical practices.

And you have absolutely no idea how taxation works. Timile tirney income tax matra tax hoina, everyone in Nepal pays tax in one way or the other. Orange ball kindaa ni tax tiriraako hunchhau. So that “makai bechne didi” might not be paying tax in terms of income tax or rent taxes, but she is paying tax in other ways. And just because they are not formally recognized workers, that doesn’t mean they don’t contribute to economy. Just read about what “informal sector” means in economics and the role they play in any country’s overall economy. Nepal jasto sano economy ta jhan thulo yogdaan hunchha. They are not “evadind taxes”, there is no proper method in place that can be used for incorporating them into the formal sector.

    > “I am disappointed in you(th)” protest for some paid amount of money

GTFO with this kind of stupid logic. Aru lai chai don’t fall for media and propaganda and all rey and afu chai repeating the same old lazy ass rhetoric of anyone disagreeing with you automatically being a paid agent. Alikati padhney ra research garney baani basala bhai ani then start making opinions. Yasto sajilo one liner itself invalidates your whole point about getting distracted from the main point.

Balen is not your savior. Far from it. Everyone had high hopes from him, including me. But all he turned out to be is a sensationalist attention whore with no long term plans and leadership skill. All he does is stir up the soft minded masses with some popular action with no proper plan and everytime someone questions him, he turns to what-aboutery, red herring and poisoning the well tactics. Bhanney bela chai khub laws and all bhanchha, but most of his actions don’t have legal basis. Look how runchey he is. CDO ko permission nalikana government vehicle wife le lagdaa normal police checking pardaa pani k k na bhako jasto gari status haalyo. Even tried to mislead the masses with false news of his wife being in labor during the time. After all the truth came out, lusukka status delete garyo without any apologies. Samakhusi maa KMC le bhatkaako naala maa parera euta bacchaa maryo. Not a single statement from him. Nor from his “supporters”. Timile Balen lai vote haaleko bhaye timile sab bhandaa badhi question uthaunu parchha. But while you are saying others are being misled by the main parties and media, you yourself are being misled by Balen and his PR machine. You must have the intelligence and maturity to judge and question everyone equally, be it Balen or Oli/Deuba/Prachanda/Lamichhaney.

Finally, yo “us vs them” bhanney purano tactics ho of dividing and ruling. Balen le ni tyahi gariraa chha. Footpath is not the biggest priority in Ktm right now, everyone with a sane mind should be able to recognise this. In fact, Balen is hurting the economic source of KMC by eliminating the informal sector. Hindu vs muslim, hindu vs kiraats, pahadey vs madhesis, urban vs rural, bahun/chhetirs vs janajatis…yastai yastai kura ko conitnuation ho yo. What you are referring as diversion tactics, the same is being done by Balen. So aru lai bhedaa bhandai gardaa afu pani bhedaa hunu bhayena. The people suffering are no different from you. You might be doing better than them right now, similarly I’m doing way better than you right now. Ahile lai uniharu le dukhaa paairaa chhan, timi uniharu lai problem dekhchau. Pachhi timro paalo aauda, maile timilai similarly problem dekhera “thikkaa paryo” bhanera basey bhaney k hunchha hola? Think about that.
