I am currently in the US for a visit to my brother, and I plan to bring two new phones:
one for myself and one for my mother (the phones I intend to bring are the Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 7a).
I’ve heard that I can only bring and register one phone for myself.
What should I do with the other one?
How can I register the second phone as well?
Has anyone had a similar experience or have knowledge about this?
By the way, I am not on an employment visa; it’s just a visit visa.
Please help me out.

I brought 2 phones last oct without paying any tax nor cleared any declaration( i was allowed to bring 2 phones becuz i have shram swikrit btw) and after 15days i received message fom telecon to d mdms.
I did online myself which was approved easily for one but for another it was rejected with reason to provide citizen and departure stamp too. I did provide old departure stamp( i usually travel auh-ktm) and it did work for me hai.
