we have always known nyatpola mandir as a architectural marvel and for a magnificent artistry but with that the engineering wonder behind the mandir is always less talked about .
I was going through some details about the mandir and was astonished that the mandir resisted earthquake for almost 300 year (though it once fell from the top ) .
this is listed in the world heritage site but the irony is wee don’t even know about the kind of foundation kept on here . aren’t we capable about researching this simple thing ?
how has this structure been resisting all these high magnitude earthquakes for so long?
this ancient engineering is not properly documented . would be helpful if anyone provide me more details about the engineering behind the mandir . thankyou
