Best skill to learn in Nepal.

Best skill to learn in Nepal.

I’m doing my bachelor’s degree (BE Comp) and I’ve realized there’s lots of free time in bachelor’s. I really do mean it when I say there is free time because I am doing quite well in my exams. To be a little bit more independent. I realized that i should learn some skills than playing games. I know basic HTML/CSS/JS (I’ve built a calculator, a weather api website, a trashy personal portfolio site, etc.) However, Im in my third semester, so I think this is just not enough for me rn. Our college do not offer any form of internship, thus I am on my own so, I have decided not to wait until the end of my undergraduate to begin working instead, I want to gain some experience as soon as possible. I attempted to learn other stuff like video editing and blender (because my rtx3050 was going to waste on valorant) and I really enjoyed it, but I don’t think that 3D and video editing would get me anywhere in Nepal, and it is also completely outside of my topic of study. I’d like some advice on where to begin and how to go with my career. What are the best skills to lean in my case?

  1. Just learn programming dude, the one which you genuinely feel interested in. After you make a decision about which programming language you would pursue, go to the coursera, search for the course, select one and then apply for financial aid. You will get enrolled in the course, free of cost after 15-20 days, plus you will get a certificate at the end, which you can share and post on LinkedIn too. And after completing the course do some projects for your portfolio. Open your linkedin account, and then view jobs daily, you will find internship opportunities posted over there, that may be online or offline. You will obviously get an edge over your competitors because of the course certificate and the portfolio projects but you should deliver on the interview too. I wish you the best for your future, I would definitely do it, if I was in 2nd or 3rd semester.

  2. Hello I am waiting for my CSIT entrance exam and you have mentioned that your collage do not provide an internship. Can you tell me the name of your collage so I can skip it.

  3. pursue cs50 by harvard. It’s free on youtube and edx. At the end you will have an idea of the general computer engineering and programming world. Maybe you will develop an interest on something. Give it a try.

  4. hey i know that video editing for a period is boring and frustrating i know some guys who are earning 1 to 2 lakhs per month from video editing just to clarify they work on fiverr i also tried but i have a pc with 4gb ram and dual core celeron processor i think you have a decent pc you dont have to buy a course everything is available online in youtube you can learn premiere pro and [photoshop from gfx mentor most of the people have learned from there dont waste your time on games it just waste i just want so say that keep learning and implementing it best of luck
