Yesterday, I found some really good folk songs from Bihar on Archive.org. It got me thinking about the music from Madhesh (Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Maithili, Tharu, and others).
These languages don’t get the attention they deserve, and the people who speak them have faced a lot of challenges. Let’s change that, at least a bit.
I’m asking all to share your favorite songs from Madhesh. It could be a folk song, a traditional tune, or something new from these languages. Share the links, titles, or just the names of the artists you like.
