Please please please tell your staff to check the quality of the meat before cooking. One bad momo is enough for people to never want to come to your restaurant ever again.
Apart from that, ethnic meals are gaining a bit of popularity these days. When you market your restaurant, adding an ethnic specialty of the week/month might be a new idea that might attract people.
Please please don’t start another restaurant that serves everything like pizza momo burger chopsuey friedrice etc etc. I am so sick of these places. Why dont you try to bring some new cuisine to Nepal? Something that we don’t have.
If you are thinking of doing a restaurant selling multiple generic dishes, then I think you should level up your budget and create something with a good ambience where people’s priority is the overall vibe over food, like a nice place to hangout with friends and family.
But if you want a heavy inflow of people, almost a chaotic kind a situation, then go for restaurants serving a specific dish, and I am not talking about a specific cuisine like Chinese or Korean, but a specific food like Pizza, Sekuwa, Samosa, or a new dish that matches the Nepali palate but people have yet to discover. Single dish restaurants are easy to brand too because the dish and the restaurant become synonymous, unlike generic restaurants which are hard to advertise unless you are a celebrity so that people can go like “Falano celebrity ko restaurant jaau”
