I gave my phone to get repaired to a guy. And for almost 2 months he kept on saying phone will be repaired soon , sometimes he didn’t pick up the call or neither did he call me back.
Yesterday I went to his shop where he works , he was playing Pubgm on his phone ignoring my texts/calls. I asked him where my phone was. He told me it has been to another repair shop at mahaboudha. He told me to wait 1 hour for it to come. After one hour the shop’s owner came instead of phone. I insisted him to go to mahaboudha with me. He took me to mahaboudha and said me that he don’t know where the repairing store is. Then he made me wait there for 1 hour too.
I got angry and he called his shop’s owner and told me to talk to him , The shop’s owner says me to wait even 2/3 days for my own phone after waiting 2 months.
Then I took his phone and got back home. Today he called me to come to his shop and take my phone and give him his phone. And then he even says he has filed a complaint against me. And he starts to threaten me. I told him that I won’t come to his shop. He told me that police will call me tomorrow. Because he says that I snatched his phone instead.
Does police really take this kind of stupid complaint ?
If yes what can I really do to defend myself ? I have never been on this kind of situation.

Yei tension hudina. If they appear, just tell them this whole story. Also if you have proof or bill or anything that shows your phone is with them, it’ll be very good.
Did you got back your phone? No police don’t take such stupid complaints as you already have returned the phone.
Won’t lie it was pretty stupid of you to take his phone. U shouldn’t have to wait for 2 month, for me it’s 1 week maximum or threaten him u would report to police if they didn’t give your phone back. All u can do is tell the police u were pretty angry with the owner since he didn’t give your mobile back even after 2 month. Show them the proof u have, return his phone back and take your phone. Melmilap pani police le garcha.
