My honest experience with a well known company

Due to some reasons, I will not be disclosing the company name but it is a well known company in Nepal. I recently completed my internship there and few days before the completion, I had asked the HR department what documents should I send over for the pay I’d get and also for the evaluation letter. They told me to ask the employee there to send HR a list of documents (some of which I had, some I hadn’t). I created them asap and on the last day I left every document with them and returned back home. After 3-4 days, I still had no response so I contacted the HR again. This time they told me to tell the employee to send HR my start date, end date and my branch name. Ofc this would take a long time so I asked them if it was possible to send over the documents from my side. They rejected the thought and said to do as they say. Agreeing, I went 2-3 days later and relayed the message to the employee there ( I have no idea why they can’t contact employee to employee and I had to be the messenger). There was still no contact after a week or two so this time I took my dad with me (he is a bit aggressive but gets the work done so) and my dad told them on the spot to send the documents right now so that I wouldn’t have to go again and again there. They said they’d be sending tmr so I have no idea but my question is Why can’t we send things over from our side? it’s the same documents and everything. and as eager as they are to let a new intern work under them, they must have the same eagerness while the intern ends their internship as well. The work that should’ve taken a week at most is almost taking a month!! Three days later I called to check with the HR if they’ve received the documents and they picked it up tara no response at all ani phone ni katdainan feri balance matra gayo. Also since I’ve already completed the internship there i know that the employee that needs to send the documents to the HR iss free for some time in the morning everyday. Why couldn’t they send it during that time. Khaja Khana time Cha, Aru ko room ma gayera guff garna time Cha Tara euta tei system ma bhako document sametera hr Lai pathauna time chaina. Truly a great company. Ani aaja ma hr department nai visit garna gayeko thiye js to ask whether they got the email or not from the branch I worked at and the person in charge of intern was gone. Aru Le hamilai thaha hudaina gaare. You’d at least know your colleague ko desktop password or they could’ve called him since they have his personal number ni desktop ko pw magera check garidina hunthyo. Every single one of them is a namuma there

Also for the people calling me a pussy and scaredy cat etc: Please go through the first line once again. The entire purpose of this post is just to rant not disclose the name or anything else. if I wanted to say the name, I would disclose it. Kura company ko bani behora ko gardai chu company ko naam Mai focused chan some people. Knowing the company name isn’t gonna do any parties any good either. So respectfully I ask you to go through the first line once again before commenting 🙏😊

  1. Your issue is important. Call, email and text to the concerned managers or CEO or owners about all happenings.
And seriously, just giving you a headstart, Dad will not solve all of your problems. Deal with it!

  2. Personally, its not just companies where these kinds of employees exist. In my experience even educational institutions have workers who simply find simple tasks so distracting. For example, in my college there is a technical managing officer who was procastinating to replace a projector that wasnt working in my class. We told that person several times and a month passed so we reached out to the head teacher to get problem fixed. Guess what? Next day we had the projector replaced which only meant that person was just not taking us srsly and was busy doing literally nothing on his computer. Plus that person even sent everyone in my batch an email about how the problem was fixed thanks to him.

So i have a question. Do people really dont wanna work? Like they come for work to get paid for doing nth? Why arent people more compassionate towards the people who are in venerable positions? Is there this kind of pride feeling of power that you think you have to suppress people who have less power than you? Is this how every work oriented place work? Let me know.
