I am in Germany now and the roaming from NCELL SIM was working well around mid-October. It suddenly stopped working. No notice, No warning NOTHING. I was using this SIM card only to get the OTPs that Nepali apps ask for.
Today, I reached out to their support and they said I will have to activate the roaming pack for 50 rs/month. So for those who are using NCELL SIM in a foreign land. Do you guys also have the same scenario? Is this something new from NCELL? I have been in Germany for almost a year now and everything was working flawlessly without activating anything.

Yup, now you have to pay fee to activate roaming.
Here’s the full message
“From 18th October, subscription fee of Rs. 50 will be applied for activation of Ncell roaming service. The validity will be 30 days from the date of activation. Please note that the activation of roaming service is compulsory for using the roaming service for all countries.”
