What is the issue?

Would our nation develop if there are good leaders at the top positions like PM, Home ministers, Finance ministers alongside unqualified politicians. I mean we mainly blame 3 people for Nepal current situation: Prachandha, Oli and Deuba. Are they cause of all trouble or we as a citizens are responsible for it as well? It would be interesting know your thoughts on this. I, personally, believe it is due citizens that nepal is underdeveloped. We still have a strong castism in nepal, and we are easily swayed by personality cult. Also, we don’t have a strong sense of keeping promises and living up to it. We don’t value punctuality, and everyone is generally late for work. We don’t enegaged in focus work while we are committing to something. We have blaming culture and the word ‘politicians’ generally refers to someone who bribes and steals from common Nepalese, someone who can easily be blamed. I think we are happy that we have someone to blame— politicians, and we are not burdening ourselves by blaming ourselves. We want to live freely, free of deep critical thinking. We have also closed our minds, so no new thoughts are allowed. We don’t think individual action can make change happen, and rivers, park, road, etc are polluted mostly by the public, not by politicians. I see people not flushing and throwing Garbage everywhere in road, spitting everywhere. Aren’t we, citizens of nepal, stupid and ignorant? I think we should criticize ourself alongside the criticism of politicians. Alas! We also have this Messiah culture. And then most of us have little knowledge about economics. How many of us know about the fiscal and monetary policy that politicians implement? Are we even aware of them? Shouldn’t we try to evaluate every policies govn tries to make and think independently and critically? Understanding politics and politicians takes time, but we blindly like or hate them without study.
