  1. U atleast u have weekend.
I worked once double shift of 14 hrs for two continous week.
U will be fucked to the core. Like dimag le sochnai chodxa. Then i had to giveup.

If you think its too much decrease it cause whats the point of that money if you end up spending on your health later on.

Put your health first (both physical and mental) and find your limit.

Sometimes responsibilty dherai hunxa i can understand but your health is your first priority always. Like literally above every fucking thing.

YOUR HEALTH ALWAYS COMES FIRST THEN U CAN TAKE CARE OF OTHERS.

Ani time pako bela go hiking or be somewhere intouch with nature u will feel different and better.

    Good luck bro. Take care.

  2. Do you work in the same company I work in because DAMN it is accurate.

But it is not healthy. Used to be the same paila but now alikati buddhi palayo ki if this stress kills me tomorrow my office wont even wait till my 13th day to replace me.

Arko realization happened ki the reward for good quality work in my office is being assigned even more work.

So I got detached from my job. I do my work, but I have found a mixture of working very efficiently and leaving work at the office helps alot to be even more efficient.

If it is a big corporate, it wont even fire you if you do this.

Also, take a break. Take a 2-4 din ko leave saying ki koi relative ko bihe chha or whatever and just stop responding to work for those 4 days. Farke pachi aago ta laageko huncha but you will have more energy to deal with it.

Burnout is definitely not fun. Having stress induced illnesses are un-fun-er.

  3. Working that long can be a hectic thing because life gets routined.

I don’t have experience working that long every day but, I would suggest you look for other opportunities with similar or better pay gradually. I know this can be hard, but nothing wrong with giving it a go right?

I don’t mean you should leave the current job and stuff. But, it’d be a good idea to look for a new job with a better work/life balance. It’d help you in the long run.

    All the best!

  4. salary ramro aauxa vani ta garni nih mate certain time samma. Save money ani afnai business kei garnu.

na suti nasuti kaam garnu parthiyo.Aauta k mistake vayo vani nepal aauda paisai naboki aayiyo.

garnu ramailo garera paisa udaiyo tyo chai nagarnu . sake samma paisa save garnu ani start your own.

  5. Malai ta ramilo lagcha. And then again, I work for myself so yeah.

When I used to employed, I refused to work extra hours even if it was paid. Kailay kai chai 2 hours jasto besi gardinthye. Otherwise no. I always drew a line between work and my life outside of work.

Even if I work 12-14 hours these days, and it’s been years since I’ve been doing it, it works for me because I can easily take out time when I need. Somedays, I feel burnt out so I take a day off now and then. But otherwise, it’s fun.

  6. Ah good old days when I used to work like that. I used to do 16 hours of work on top of college classes. I was getting like 2-3 hours of sleep max. I did this for about 2 years. Let me tell you, that was 11 years ago. Now I am always tired. That messes up with your body for sure. The only thing that got me going was I didn’t want to ask for money from my family because they didn’t have much to support me, they depended on me. It gets frustrating and you start hallucinating due to lack of sleep. But gotta do what you gotta do.

I hope you find something better and get to take care of yourself.

  7. I worked under similar condition for 8 9 months.

Software engineer by profession. Worked in a Nepali company (1 to 10, sometimes upto 12) and I had taken two projects from Upwork
Worked like crazy, bihana 7.30 dekhi kaam garyo. Nasutne bela samma screen agadi. Drank crazy amount of water. 0 physical workout. The only relaxation I had were the days when the office ended at 9.30 and I had some time to chat around with friends, play a game or two.
After the upwork projects ended, the client reached out to me with longer term project and double the pay, but I was so burnt out mentally and physically, I declined on the spot without even giving it a thought. After a good weekend rest, I reached back to him and asked if the offer was on the table, he said yes and I left the Nepali company and joined the client full time, after taking 2 week long rest. After 14 or 15 months, I have now finally started taking side projects to work on after not working on much during these months.

To sum up the experience , if you are in desperate need of money and need to work, spend at least 1 hr of the day to yourself or at least do something to freshen up, but be ready for the burnout that will hit you someday.
