I’m an undergrad considering a master’s in IT. Is it worth it for career and earning potential, or should I focus on skills on my own and experience?
Additionally, I’m confused between pursuing it in Nepal or studying abroad.
What are the pros and cons of each option, and do you have any recommendations or experiences to share? Thanks!”
Too many questions in a single Reddit thread but Can you suggest some colleges in Kathmandu?

Think it this way for example.
Considering you do good in your masters, gain good interview skills and projects to showcase, you have good opportunity to get job opportunities abroad. You can expect to earn $75K (pre-Tax) per year with relative ease in USA.
Compare that with what you will earn in Nepal after doing the masters. Maybe 60-70K per month on above average scale?
So, earning wise, it makes sense to try abroad. However, living abroad has its own cons. No or less friends, no family life, so yes, you make more money but can you enjoy it much without friends and family?
Whereas, making that much money in Nepal, you are at least self-sufficient, close to family and friends, enjoying life.
Not here. Go to Bhutan. It may be better there.
