I'm 18M and confused.

As the topic says I’m 18M and I’m being so confused in my life. Some says this is the time to make memories some says this is the time to work hard idk what to do. This are just some random things but the main confusion is what shoul I do next . It’s been like 4 months my 12 exam has completed and looking back into this 4 month I didn’t see any thing improvement or good thing I have done im my life. Idk if I’m overreacting it or it is just phase of the life.

  1. If You want to enjoy your youth i.e 18-30 go have fun aile. if you want to enjoy your life, keep your family safe, provide for your family and keep them out of poverty, FIND WHAT YOU WANT TO DO AND WORK ON IT!!!

  2. Well ! First thing, YOU’RE OVERTHINKING!

When you say enjoy now or work hard now. The answer is never binary. It never will be. Why not do both?

Here’s a pro tip for life. When it comes to these things, it might look like you have only one choice but almost everytime it’s not a binary choice.

  3. Volunteer garna jau, programs haru ma participate gara, cross culture experience huncha, I wish I was your age and could do it jasto huncha. But emails lekha to places, maybe even internships, be open to friendships and please be humble (will be a perk to you and you will be grateful when you look back later)

  4. I am also 18M and a year back I was in a same position as you I was so dreadfully seeking improvements in my life but let me tell you it just happens as it goes as long as you take the opportunity to seize the moment and do what’s right for you. Moments and chances to improve you will arrive and when they come take a hold of it but you better start grinding for it from today and you don’t have to get too anxious about it .

  5. Most of are still confused at the age of 25, if you don’t agree then ask your parents even they hadn’t figured it out by then , it’s your story and you decide how you wanna go along. Try experimenting with different stuffs ,decide either you wanna follow your passion or you want to achieve something in a particular sector , it’s all up to you fam , goodluck takecare!

  6. It is partly a phase of life, timro most friends haru pani yai situation ma holan ahile
but here are some things to help you
-Are you preparing for any entrance or 12 paxi k garne ho tesko bare research gara
-Make passport, it takes a long time yeta janu uta janu and paxi bidesh jane soch xa vane taba attidai garnu pardena
-license nikala bike or car ko, 1 month mata majale sikxau car nai, it would be helpful to you future ma
-exercise at home, learn about hygiene and grooming yourself properly, it will be helpful in many aspect of your life

  7. If life is sending challenges, just face it.
Pailai figure out vayo vane maja nai vaena ni.
Take pride in what you’re doing now, dherai chij try gardai jane ho eventually you’ll find something to settle on(if that’s what you’re looking for)

  8. now is the time do both, here’s how: find a hobby that you can get addicted to and that can also pay your bills later in life. then you don’t have to worry about not having fun, this is your fun. i somehow found that hobby at your age.

  9. It’s 12:20 AM and I keep studying until 3 AM.

If you can use Reddit to seek help, I believe you can do anything to learn. So far the answer to your most critical question is concerned i.e. “doing good in life”. The same question will strike you again after 10 years. If you keep yourself engaged in learning for the next 10 years, then you will answer proudly that you never stopped learning even in a very hard time. Always remember knowledge is a just tool; not the Goal. Keep yourself equipped for the future with tools. You can set your Goal later anytime.

As per the obtainment of Knowledge, what you obtain doesn’t matter much as long as you obtain something that will be useful for your future. If you allow me to suggest then I suggest not to make memories that are not useful for your professional career. Whether you go for an outing, partying with friends, or study. May sound weird for your age, but it is the bitter truth.

If you feel low and find yourself in a situation where you don’t have to do much. Believe me, it’s the best time to study because nothing will distract you if you decide to focus on something. Become stubborn against your difficulties and try to smile at them. Be like: “I will show you who I am”.

I found myself always dominated by talented people but all of a sudden we are shifting to the era of “Wisdom”. It’s our time now. Stay genuine; stay wise.

God has given us so much money as time, but it’s in crude form. Try to recognize what you have. Invest them as much as possible to convert them to real money. 🙂

**And, the ultimate suggestion on investment is SKILL.**

    My best wishes. 🙂

  10. 16-25 is crucial and phase of experimentation in life. You do whatever you want with no expectation to win, but give your 100%. If you think of a career, better experiment and gain some experience. How to experiment, learning something, implementing it practically, win or fail or retry, unlearn and go indepth of the same topic, be an expert. Switch the field, repeat same thing again and again until and unless you’re 25. Once you’re satisfied with what you’re doing and you feel like you can do that very thing for rest of your life as your career, now start doing it professionally. If you want your career to be the best here in Nepal. There’s a gap in available jobs and skill of a employee. If you’re able to do this and you know what you’re doing and if you can negotiate your starting salary can be as high as 45-50k.

    Or, go for abroad study.

This is purely my opinion, and this is only suitable for certain kinds of career.
