As an student coming from canada, I have two phone one iphone for my personal use and one samsung for android development and stuffs, so do I have to pay taxes or customs or anything or will it be wise to just bring one? Really confused.. Help!!!

If you get lucky you might not be checked by customs otherwise only 1 phone is allowed to bring new or old doesn’t matter.
See Nepal’s airport regulations are totally depends upon bhansar officer. Some do regulate strictly some don’t.
If you have employment permit apporved by nepal sarkar which is called श्रम u can bring 2 phone without paying tax( but still need to go through hansar process without paying).
I brought 4 phones few years back and I was lucky enough to clear the customs. But now things are different, its pretty strict. Just be careful. Bring at your own risk. You just allowed to bring one.
Nah u can , this last month i traveled back to Nepal brought 3 phones with me. No problem
Put one phone in a checked bag and keep the other phone with you. Yeah, it might get stolen because they do that a lot at the airport there. But it SHOULD be fine. I came into Nepal in May with two iPads, a MacBook, a phone on my person. Two more iPads in two different checked bags, and none got taken. In fact no one mentioned them to me at all
