How can we as a developer help in Israel Palestine Crisis?

How can we as a developer help in Israel Palestine Crisis?

I have been thinking to do something, maybe create a website to help during this crisis. But haven’t got a clear idea of what to do yet.

You might know Avi Schiffmann. He developed live COVID case updating website that helped millions of people around the world. Then, during Ukraine Russia crisis, he developed UkraineTakeShelter which helped hundreds of thousands of people.

So, during this crisis what helpful can we build? Maybe a website containing all the emergency contact numbers? Links to donate? Safety measures? Or even help in shelter?

  1. Below idea might be helpful, If anyone is capable of doing this.
    – A website with list of Nepali in Israel.
    – Detail of Name, Address, departed date and status
    – useful links for point of contact in Israel, people willing to help them transport from ktm to their hometown, etc.

    Possible sources for this info:
    – popular/trusted social media groups like MRR, RONB, etc.
    – national news media – onlinekhabar/kantipur, etc

Just having a site with count and names of persons and knowing their safety status will be of a great help in these trying times.

  2. LoL!. You can pressure the Nepali government to rescue them and bring them back to Nepal. I don’t think words alone will have a positive effect on them. You can’t help virtually in this type of issue. You have to physically help them. After rescuing them, only then you can help them with your words, perhaps for dealing with PTSD. Lol, what an idiotic thing to ask on Reddit. Hate me if you want for saying this, but I cannot help but laugh because of this meaningless post.”I want to create a website to assist them” re.. . Also, “I haven’t got a clear idea.” re…. LOL Again !
