This is a slightly more difficult trek in comparison to other trekking routes in Nepal, so the first and foremost thing is to be safe. If you are going alone, just go slowly and don’t hesitate to return back in cases of altitude sickness, as there will always be a next time.
For affordable trekking equipments, Kalapathhar store in Thamel is the best, and you can find all items in one place.
If you’ve not been on a trek, manaslu may not be the right one to start off with.
