Tbh I thought same sex marriage was ok, until i moved to west. Sano huda there used to be articles on newspaper keti le keti bihe garo or keta le keta bihe garo, whenever it was case in nepal anywhere, with the couples photograph on articles.
I thought it was normal, and when asked my mom about sama-lingik bihe, she told aatma le aatma roj cha, sharir ta kewal aatma ko bastra ho. I guess we were much more advanced than modern western society, and in recent time, i realized my mom was OG lgbtq ally.
