Abortion guideline in Nepal

So, my gf didn’t get her periods for almost 40 days now we both start think that she is pregnant. I need help on abortion process. And yes we are both 18+. my biggest fear is are parents required for the abortion process and how much would it cost.

  1. Some steps:
    1. Stop panicking. Things will work out without parents.
    2. Get a pregnancy kit and test.
    3. If positive, don’t freak out. Go to a nearby Marie Stopes or hospital and then do necessary tests (maybe repeat pregnancy test/TVS) etc.
    4. Pregnancy within 8 weeks can be terminated medically, so you have 8 weeks from her last period to do the abortion. Sooner the better.
    5. Pregnancy later (8-12wks) can be aborted by MVA which is more painful and may cause more complications but do you have a choice? Most of the MVAs are safe, so consult with your doctor in detail.
    6. If negative, lesson for the next time: never ever have sex without protection. Even if protected, better use 2 ways to be safe. For eg condoms+calendar/condoms+withdrawal

  2. Go to a OBGYN specialist. Abortion is legal in Nepal upto 12 weeks of pregnancy, please confirm it, I’m not sure of this info.

Get a USG to make sure it’s not tubal pregnancy, pill abortions are safe upto 2 months/ 9 weeks, should be cheap if this is the case.

    Edit:
    1. Also, get a pregnancy test kit from local pharmacy to confirm pregnancy.

    2. Avoid doing anything before a USG

  3. >now we both start think that she is pregnant. I need help on abortion process.

Dude do you even know if she’s pregnant? Like atleast buy a test kit first.

Period irregularities are very common for a teenager.

Also why wouldn’t you use a condom. Every week there’s someone asking about abortion.

Wear a fucking condom, its not that hard!!!!!

  4. > we both start think that she is pregnant

Have you even done the pregnancy test yet?

DO NOT USE ABORTION PILLS ! as people here suggest.

If you have to do it, talk to a specialist.

  5. Get a kit first. Test and find out. Periods might be delayed to other reason.
    40 days ma daraunu pardaina.
Tara if she has periods regularly you need to be concern.
40 days matra ho vani you get pills consult with doctor before it’s late. 8 weeks Paxi curate nai garaunu parxa. So better hurry up.

  6. It might be the case of PCOD/PCOS (here girls don’t have period for few months). It occurs due to junk food.

Get the pregnancy test kit. It’s cheap and is easily available.

One more thing: NEVER EVER TAKE THE PILL BY YOURSELF. THERE MIGHT BE COMPLICATIONS. SO,CONSULT A DOCTOR.

  7. 10k and you are all good, it will take time up-to 3-4 hours depending on how it goes.

And few days of medication then you are good to go for round 2 and do the K.O.

  8. People in relationship are having unprotected sex/ pregnancy and single ones are giving advice.

BTW check with the pregnancy kit. If pregnancy is found positive go to marie stops or hospital. Never ever visit unauthorized hospital for abortion. As you mentioned 40 days, the pregnancy within 8-9weeks can be aborted without parent consent.
And for the next time be more careful

  9. If she’s ready for an abortion then no one is required do some research where abortion can be done like family planning, private clinics they have to maintain you confidentiality so don’t worry but just go far from your place and since you said it’s been 40 days if pregnancy test came positive then go asap

  10. You must pay for your sins.
I hope your parents and the entire community knows of the animalistic ritual youve been celebrating outside of marriage
there are level of narakas accorded for lower beings like you and your mistress
