To those ppl who are against monarchy and mindlessly uttering "Democracy"

We belong not only in democracy but in संघीय गणतान्त्रिक लोकतान्त्रिक धर्मनिरपेक्षता समावेशी समानुपातिक समाजवाद उन्मुख व्यवस्था

Give me reason why this bewastha will stick for long period of time…Esma loktantra ta philosophical utopian concept nai vayo…but Aru state structure katisma tikla…do you know the meaning of all the words written in constitution except loktantra and how popular is it in Nepal among Nepalese…

संघियता- ppl want to scrap it…
गणतान्त्रिक- ppl want king back…
धर्मनिरपेक्षता- ppl want Hindu state…
समावेशी समानुपातिक – ppl think it is for leaders wife…full direct house hunaparyo vanney cha merit based…
समाजवाद – lol I have nothing to say about this…

Red flags everywhere tehi ho west Nepal East Nepal chai nahos desh…

  1. People who think someone who had the right just because they were born lucky should have control over all the people including lucky ones and unlucky ones really need to think hard…

Do you think everyone born in privileged family think good for other???? That they should be given enough power to rule and control major decisions that can change other people lives??? When they themselves have been given everything in silver platter???

You might love, follow a monarch. But their lineage might destroy the country to irreversible path.

Maybe right now the situation of Nepal isn’t great but it can be made good if we have enough awareness. If we ourselves choose a right candidate and just not follow and vote someone just because they provide masu Bhat for a day/month. People like Rabi, Balen being voted and reaching to that level and seeing Balen’s work of rescuing a river which had been buried for years makes me feel Nepal has finally realised that people over 60 and power has been ruining country over the years. Maybe they are hated by some but you cannot deny that the changes he brought will affect the country for long term in a good way. No one is perfect. But we have the choice to vote the right person. We have the choice to put someone there so that the country and our children will someday say ‘ no Nepal is enough for me, I will stay here ‘.
We have the right to be aware, not choose the shit candidates who are all talk but no action.

BEFORE YOU SAY YOU WANT MONARCHY TO RETURN THINK OF A POSSIBILITY OF JOFFREY BARATHEON RULING THE COUNTRY or another Rana dynasty rule. Do you think you will stay here after that????

Note: Joffrey Baratheon is a character from game of thrones.

  2. Monarchy, hindu rastra chaine bhaye tei belama protest garnu parthyonta. Current government is shit but it can be made better.

Nobody on this earth should be in a position of power just because of their birth. Shah’s had their run, all thanks to PN shah for the unification and king Mahendra for registering us on UN on time and all them highways and national parks but it’s time to move on.

  3. Our new constitution is special in that it was made by a Constituent Assembly which is the most democratic way to make a constitution.. India did the same and other Countries. All our previous constitutions were made by unelected group of people. So, this is one main reason imo why this constitution will last longer, granted there are amendments from time to time to reflect the will of the people.

Now you say people want this or that but what’s the medium whereby you can really check what the people want? It is elections and we had that last year and parties that wanted both Republic and federalism won huge.. pro monarchy and anti federalism party was 5th largest party in Parliament. So, what do people really want?? Gathering few thousand protesters isn’t enough to change the entire system.

I’m not satisfied one bit with our mainstream politicians but there are newer parties coming in like RSP that’s challenging them. Also I’m personally against federalism and actually want a directly elected President (not PM which can’t work) in Nepal but I want it to be done legally not by destroying the whole thing.

  4. I don’t care anything else only slogans and words don’t have impact in people life but today’s demand of all people is there should be directly elected PM with 5yrs term, no proportionate quotas all directly elected, the state govt should be scrapped. That’s all the demand of people.

  5. haha your first setence was enough for me to disregard everything else – “We live in a democracy” yeahhhhhhh right. Even North Korea calls itself Democratic Republic of North Korea.

  6. Neutral Vayera ekchoti bichar Garda huncha…ani esko jimmewari ko ho…did ppl voted out monarchy, Hindu rastra, voted in federalism, didn’t ppl disliked the parliamentary system as well after 2050s system…

Ppl lai bypass gardiney hota…ppl lai sodnapardaina…kotha ma basera 2 3 Jana milera junai interest groups snga Pani dealing gardiney ani hamile eslai democracy vanera mannaparney…

Expire vayepachi unmukti paincha ki vanera kaal nai parkhera baseyko jastocha yiniharu ani tetinjel ycl yuwa sangh Haru parichalit garera vayepani tikaula…Tara tespachi hatney nai ho yo aakhirma…yo kramma Tara derai collateral damage chai nahos…

It is bound to fail sooner or later…

  7. The thing is nobody is asking for absolute monarchy. We didn’t have that before 62 Jana andolan either. So people crying democracy this, democracy that, we had democracy, election, parliament when we had monarchy too.

People just want a non-political head of state that acts as a check and balance, a guardian figure and last resort for the public.

  8. PAID DOG OF PRASAIN? Whatever what i think is federal state can be restated( I dont have good reason why people want it still) but not a monarchy how can u support monarchy? How can u support a government where his heir is considered state head. Do u think people who are protesting there knows what they are doing? They are all frustated and brainwashed people who will do anything to remove this government. Maximum of them dont even know what will be its consequence and this Prasain is using the. Durga prasai is doing this for own benefit. And Now u are posting this kind of post in this kind of situation? Ask for something else not a monarch nation. Now this mf is saying he will capture kathmandu tomorrow Xd.

  9. There are no countries with 0 opposition keeping the autocrat ruled one aside. People gonna dislike what is present with them. Monarchy huda desh chod ko nara hunthyo ta aaile feri aau ko nara hunxa nothing new this is just a phase of democracy getting mature. Sanghiyata ko kura garda people ranting because of it not being as expected, i wonder what people assume the speed of government to be considering the financial situation. Expecting nepal to have federalism like india is just absurd rn ,so the speed may increase, people will keep on ranting but a day will come for the maturity of federalism as well.

  10. TL;DR at the end

Federalism: Gives more power to state governments, only an idiot would want to scrape it. It gives people of the state to more directly control the administration of the state which may or may not be on the same page as the central government.

Democratic: People who want king back and are protesting don’t seem to realise that it is their democratic right to protest and express their opinions. A king won’t allow people to protest against them.
Monarchy is a double edged sword. Could be good if the person is good (eg: MBS of Saudi Arabia with his recent reforms) and can be horrifying if is out of control. You can’t choose a king however, you can choose which party controls your country. This fact should be communicated in a better way. Every political party has a lot to lose if monarchy is established, even RaPraPa.

Secularism: (Christian) Secularism was never about non-religious state. It was simply a way for Europeans to choose what sect of Christianity you want to follow. Divorcing “Christian” and “Secularism” to just say “Secularism” completely misrepresented what it meant.
Even in case of non-religious government, Hindus want their religion to be protected. Unable to control forced/coerced religious conversion is a problem that state has failed to control. Openly hurting Hindu sentiment and offending them is a trend among newly converts which is supposed to be controlled even by a non-religious government because it should protect all religion unless in opposition of the law.

So a Hindu state won’t solve the problem if you don’t have state machinery to control the rampant forced/coerced conversion.

EDIT: TL;DR: everything you said is due to some form of miscommunication or maybe because of misguided people further fueled by frustration. A better communication and a change in the face of democracy (new leaders with much focused aims) is required, not an overthrow of the system.
