Hello I’m an extreme Machine Learning and AI enthusiast currently pursuing graduation . It has been one and half year of learning Machine Learning from python such as Deep Learning , NLP , LLMsv,Transformers , GANs,………. As ML is quite harder , research based and has more contents than others , I feel like I have learned much but couldn’t even get any internship yet . I know there are less internship opportunities for ML compared to others . By frequently monitoring companies , I had applied for intern in several companies but got rejected every time ( I think it is because of my Bachelors Degree , currently 4th sem ) . Do companies require bachelors degree ?
I have been seeing people who ‘s more forward than me , learning more and more things everyday but still got no opportunities .
I am thinking of doing MERN stack (web) taking Machine Learning aside . But really I;m in dilemma what should I do ?? Leaving ML also hurts but it hurts more when you got no opportunities even doing that hard work. I want to get a job and make money , I’m totally frustrated of everything .
But Doing Machine Learning , now I have a strong confidence that I can learn anything just anything , nothing is harder if we really do hard work .
Note : ML in the context of Nepal

If you think you can sustain a bit longer while focusing on getting getter, I’d suggest to not leave. ML seems like the building block of whatever future holds. If you continue on pursuing it, you’ll aid in building stuff in the future rather than consume, like people myself. Good luck.
I only read learning in your post and not a single word about any projects you did. Well, that is your flaw. Companies needs someone who can make use of things, or build something not someone who can learn. It is mostly same for MERN or any other stack. Show them your skill via projects and portfolio not by certificates or fancy ML terms.
Bro i want to learn ML. Guide me.
Yes. Without proper mentorship, ML and any research based endeavor cannot be as successful.
Comparatively, in software, you can do much more solo as an individual.
If you can find proper mentorship, stick with it, otherwise don’t fall to sunk cost fallacy, choose a different path such as software engineering.

As a whole AI domain ma k k project gareu, EDA ko process kati bujya xau, ML is not hard herda matra maths badi lagne ho at the end of the few algorithms matra use garne ho. MERN stack garna man xa bhane software development ko concept strong hunxa ML model lai final product ma integrate garnu is quite challenging. Both ML and MERN will be beneficial for you.
You are competing with phd bhako folks. So of course garai huncha
