just saw a post someone asking about abortion in this subreddit. the comment section was wild chaos of pro-life vs pro-choice, woke vs right wing traditionalist.
I don’t recall seeing any post here in [r/nepal](https://www.reddit.com/r/nepal/) discussing about people’s political leanings. Economically and socially in issues like free market, abortion, form of government and structures, degree of freedom, sexuality, climate change issues, mandatory vaccines, religion, degree of interference of state in your life and so on.
wanted to ask the fellow redditors of [r/Nepal](https://www.reddit.com/r/Nepal/) , what are your beliefs on different topics mentioned above, and where do you locate yourself on the political compass ? and why do you lean towards those beliefs?

First understand that western definition of right wing left wing liberal etc doesn’t translate in Nepal.
Nepali right wing or traditionalist don’t have issue with LGBT, abortion, climate change, evolution, etc because the nepali ideological basis doesn’t stand on judeau-christian values.
socially liberal, economically right and interference of religion, creed, caste on policies zero. Sort of Nepali left of center.
Nepal dont have left, even communist parties after 2046 are all in right.
There were some discussions back in 2020 and 2021, peak of pandemic.
Can’t being able to find it.
(I know next to nothing about politics)
