I’ve been overthinking my upcoming trip using a tour and travel package company in Nepal.
They’ve assigned me a roommate, and I’m concerned about the person background and intentions – whether they might have criminal intentions. He’s Nepali, and we’ll be traveling to Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia. I’ve tried contacting the travel agency, but they keep postponing our meeting with the roommate as they said they would meet help me meetup at last day. We’ll be sharing a two-bed room. I’m feeling quite anxious. Thinking about sharing a single room with stranger. There are 7 people travelling with us but they are partner or friends.I agreed to this arrangement to save some money.
There are seven other people traveling with us, and the flights are already booked. I was hoping to create a positive immigration history so i can travel some other nations in future, but I’m unsure if I made the right decision.
Any advice on what steps to take and what to avoid?

You are right. You are overthinking this too much. People travel, hitchhike and share rooms with strangers all the time. I have done that many times.
Even if the person has criminal history doesn’t mean they’ll attack you out of nowhere in a foreign country unless they are a psycho killer.
Better find a way to contact the person and know him beforehand if you can’t calm down your anxiety.
Future ma Europe ko visa lagaune plan ma ho? Tesaile south east Asia ghumdai.
Amen!
Kill him before he do you any harm. Better safe than sorry.
Pay extra and get a single room.Simple as that. Paisa ni bachaunu cha feri fellow traveller dekhi biswas ni chaina re. What if you’re the one with criminal intent?
how much was the package if I may ask? And the travel agency?
I am also going to those countries in a few weeks, all alone by myself, not through any travel agency for the first time. Apart from saving costs, is there any reason you chose to go via a travel agency?
