Three things why Not to support Nepali

Three things why Not to support Nepali

Just like I support our Nepali underrated music artist and bands, I want to support Nepali brand shops but I don’t because of following, an honest and the true facts.

3 things why I never buy from Nepali clothing brands

– Quality is very very low, even lower than the cheapest brand shops of Western market such as Zara

– Customer Service is so disappointing. They are busy with their phones. They don’t even smile at all but they just stare at you all the time making a face with very ego arrogant atitude.

– No refund at all even if you show the receipts within the time period. Either Nepali shops don’t have refund policy or they just don’t want to, keeps nagging making themselves right.
Sometime they give expired receipt or the receipt that was of previous customer, it’s a trick. So, make sure you get the proper receipt.

Don’t fall for it just because it’s Nepali brands, Go for the right one whether it’s an African brand or Made in China or European brands or just even little Nepali brand.

  1. If you had posted this a year back, I would have urged you to change your stance and give them few chances. But now, I truly believe they’re beyond salvation.

I had a thought process that I earn a lot so I have to give back to the economy a lot as well through local businesses. I supported multiple businesses, became their most frequent and highest volume customer. But at the end, every one of them showed their true colors. I would rather pay more and enjoy it than try to support local businesses anymore.

  2. I’ve been wearing caliber shoes for 8 years now. their high end (most expensive ones are around 4000) sport shoes are durable af and comfortable too. I don’t recommend their boots tho.

  3. Hmmm I’ve honestly haven’t had bad experiences with buying things in Nepal!! Yeahh maybe you have been unlucky but I don’t think you can generalize the whole market, there are some good Nepali products too.

  4. It is about ‘value Addition’ when you buy nepali products and it will only improve the situation . Like take cars , even in countries like US , India , where the German cars , Japanese cars are sought after and their local manufactured cars were called cheap and bad but now they are catching up .

  5. So, you are stating that all Nepali brands do it? I think you got tricked by few online shops/luga pasal ko daes, and now you’re saying that all are chor basically.

Koi manxe bigreko xaw vane sabae pariwar nae bigrako xan vanna tah mildaina ni mitra.

  6. That’s one reason why free trade is bad for emerging economies. Japan and Korea heavily favored domestic industries and went from being jokes to industrial powerhouses. The fact that Korea propped up two mega car companies in such a short amount of time is remarkable. Nepali manufacturers likely can’t compete with the scale of foreign companies and end up cutting costs and sacrificing quality somewhere across the line.

  7. >Customer Service is so disappointing. They are busy with their phones.

Reminds me of when i went to buy helmet, that uncle was so wholesome, the way how this helmet color suited me, and walked far upto my scooter to put it side by side and how the color matches. Like that doesnt sound anything in words, but how he did the explaining was so good😭
